Community Guidelines
These guidelines keep the community useful and safe for everyone. You need to read them all before you can join.
Read this first: I'm not here to answer questions
This community exists so internationally trained dentists from around the world can help and learn from each other, and grow into a big, supportive network. I started it, but I won't be in the channels to answer questions, and nobody here is on call. Ask each other, share what worked for you, and expect answers from fellow members, not from me. If you need one-to-one guidance, you can book a consultation on the site.
Help each other
Share your own experience honestly, be patient with newcomers, and remember that everyone is at a different stage. What worked for you may not work for someone else, so say it's your experience, not a rule.
Not professional, legal, or admissions advice
Members are peers, not advisors. Nothing shared here is professional, legal, immigration, or admissions advice. Requirements change and vary by program, so always check with each program and with official sources (ADA, ADEA, CAAPID, your dental schools, and an immigration attorney for visas) before you rely on anything.
Be respectful
No bad language, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks. Members come from many countries and backgrounds. Disagree kindly.
Protect privacy
Never share patient information. Don't share other members' personal details or screenshots of the conversations outside the community. Your invitation is for you only, so don't pass it on.
Exam integrity
Never share recalled or leaked exam questions. Talk about how to study and prepare, not about actual test content.
No selling or promoting
No selling services, consulting, tutoring, or admission guarantees, and no spam or unwanted private messages.
Suspension and blocking
Anyone who uses bad language, harasses others, breaks these guidelines, or otherwise isn't helping will be suspended and blocked, and may not be allowed back. The community isn't watched around the clock. If you see something that breaks these guidelines, react to the message with a 🚩 flag, and please also email me at dr.aya@misrabidental.com with a link to the message, since a flag alone may not reach me.
Please write in English
English is the shared language, so everyone can follow and help.
